Japanese machine made, United Nations Partisan Forces Korea shoulder sleeve insignia. This patch was found in the personal effects of SGT Floyd Murray who was killed in action while on a recon patrol in the 3rd ID on 4 April 1951. SGT Murray was awarded a posthumous Purple Heart and Silver Star for his actions that day. It remains a mystery on how he obtained the patch, but have to assume that he obtained it from somebody who was perhaps a 'Line Crosser' with whom he had contact.
